The January 2012 Nigeria Attacks:
January 5,6, and 20, 2012 hosted two days of brutal attacks by the islamic terror group Boko Haram. They have been involved in random shootings and the bombings of Christian churches. They also targeted immigration offices, security and police offices, and Christian businesses. Their self-proclaimed goal is to enforce Sharia Law, which is the moral code of Islam, on all of Nigeria. They are still a threat because they are at large and still attacking Nigerian security forces. There is now a city curfew and armed patrols roaming the cities.

There were approximately 35 casualties on the 5th and 6th, and 185 on the 20th
